Economic-technical norms of radiation incident handling services in Vietnam

Circular 08/2022/TT-BKHCN June 06, 2022 regulating the economic-technical norms of public non-business services using the state budget for response and handling of radiation incidents, nuclear incidents;... promulgated by the Minister of Science and Technology of Vietnam.

According to this Circular, the technical and economic norms implemented in Vietnam are specified in Article 14 of Circular 21/2019/TT-BKHCN, including component norms on labor, equipment and materials.

- Labor norms shall apply the provisions of Article 15 of Circular 21/2019/TT-BKHCN, including direct labor (implementation) and indirect labor (management, service) norms.

- Equipment norms in Vietnam shall apply the provisions of Article 16 of Circular 21/2019/TT-BKHCN.

+ Units in shifts (each shift is calculated by 08 hours).

+ The term of use of equipment and auxiliary equipment shall be specified in Circular 45/2018/TT-BTC.

- Quotas of materials

+ The material norms shall apply the provisions of Article 17 of Circular 21/2019/TT-BKHCN.

+ Some materials and equipment in Vietnam for response and troubleshooting services are only used once (once), not reused to ensure radiation and nuclear safety.

- The contents and norms for the direction, administration and permanent response and handling of radiation incidents and nuclear incidents in Vietnam shall apply the provisions of Circular 85/2020/TT-BTC.

The norms for training and drills to respond to radiation incidents and nuclear incidents in Vietnam shall comply with the provisions in Appendix I to Circular 08/2022/TT-BKHCN.

Circular 08/2022/TT-BKHCN takes effect from July 22, 2022.
