On November 13, 2024, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam issued Decision 1861/QD-BLDTBXH regarding the Plan to implement tasks and measures for preventing and minimizing collective labor disputes, strikes, contributing to stabilizing social security and order as required in Official Dispatch 2176/VPXP-KTTH.
Regarding the task of information and dissemination, the content is as follows:
- Inform, disseminate, and disseminate labor law and labor relations according to the Scheme "Propaganda and Dissemination of Laws for Employees and Employers to Meet Requirements of Implementing International Labor Commitments for the Period 2023-2030" attached to Decision 1400/QD-TTg dated November 17, 2023, by the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam.
- Inform, disseminate, and disseminate the policies of the Vietnam Communist Party and the laws of the State regarding labor relations, the actual situation of labor relations, promptly block and refute misinformation that adversely affects the situation of labor relations and social security, and order on the Ministry's Electronic Information Portal, electronic information sites of relevant units, and media platforms.
- Inform, disseminate about the objectives, meaning, and benefits of amending and supplementing the Social Insurance Law on the Ministry's Electronic Information Portal, electronic information sites of relevant units, and media platforms; organize dialogue, answer queries, and respond to complaints and concerns of employees regarding social insurance in localities with complex public opinion, abnormal increases in lump-sum social insurance payments to guide and stabilize public opinion.
- Inform, disseminate about the objectives and significance of amending and supplementing the Employment Law on the Ministry's Electronic Information Portal, electronic information sites of relevant units, and media platforms; organize dialogue, answer queries, and respond to complaints and concerns of employees regarding employment issues, recruitment, labor utilization, and job reduction in various fields and areas to guide and stabilize public opinion.
