Directive on promoting the work of planning and land use plans at all levels of the Prime Minister of Vietnam

According to the Directive 22/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister of Vietnam, in order to promptly meet the demand for land use for socio-economic development goals, provincial People’s Committees are requested to perform the following tasks:

- Promote the organization of provincial planning, focusing on the content of the plan for allocation and zoning of land according to the provisions of Clause 6, Article 1 of the Decree No. 148/2020/ND-CP dated December 18, 2020.

Send to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam for comments as prescribed in Clause 7 Article 1 of the Decree No. 148/2020/ND-CP before integrating into provincial planning and send to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam for comments before December 1, 2021.

- Focus on directing the formulation of a 5-year provincial land use plan (2021-2025) according to regulations and send it to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam for appraisal and submission to the Prime Minister before December 1, 2021.

Speeding up the preparation, appraisal and approval of district-level land use planning for the period 2021-2030 according to regulations; deadline for completion is September 1, 2021.

- Direct and implement the formulation, appraisal and approval of annual district-level land use plans in accordance with law, serving as a basis for land recovery, land allocation, land lease, and land use purpose change.
