The Government has just issued Decree 68/2018/ND-CP providing guidance on the Law on State Compensation Liability. This document specifies damages and procedures for the settlement of compensation.

- Complex cases, including:- Cases with multiple types of damage occurring at different times;- Claims for compensation exceeding 5 billion VND or having significant impact on local political security and social order and safety.- Cases without the involvement of a State compensation management agency or an authorized financial agency during the damage verification process, and the damage verification report of the compensation-resolving agency proposes a compensation amount of 1 billion VND or more.- Other necessary cases as decided by the head of the compensation-resolving agency.
