Decree on the management and implementation mechanism of the national target program to be amended in Vietnam

Specifically, the Ministry of Planning and Investment shall assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with relevant ministries, central agencies, and localities in, formulating and submitting to the Government for promulgation a Decree amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree 27/2022/ND-CP dated April 19, 2022, stipulating the management mechanism and organization for the implementation of national target programs.

The deadline to submit the Decree is May 2023.
 
In addition, it focuses on amending and promulgating a number of regulations, as follows:
 
- Develop and submit to the Government a scheme on criteria to identify villages with a large number of ethnic minorities with specific difficulties and a high percentage of poor households, which are investment objects of Subproject 1, Project 9
National target program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
 
- Develop and issue a Circular amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular 02/2022/TT-UBDT dated June 30, 2022 of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities, guiding the implementation of a number of projects under the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
 
- Developing and promulgating a Circular guiding the implementation of the content "Supporting the establishment of information technology application support points for socio-economic development and ensuring security and order" under Subproject 2, Project 10 National Target Program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
 
- Formulate and promulgate a Circular guiding the management and operation of works, maintenance procedures, and maintenance cost levels of works invested and built according to specific mechanisms as prescribed in Article 38 of Decree 27/2022/ND-CP dated April 19, 2022, of the Government.
