Customary Use Forests Must Have Confirmation of No Disputes

This is one of the criteria for determining that the forest owner has complied with the legal regulations mentioned in Circular 28/2018/TT-BNNPTNT on sustainable forest management regulations.

In cases where land and forests are used under customary rights, a written confirmation from the competent authority regarding the absence of disputes is required. This is one of the criteria to determine that the forest owner has complied with legal regulations on land and forest use rights.

Additionally, the forest owner must meet other criteria such as:

- Possessing a Land Use Rights Certificate or a decision on land and forest allocation, or a land and forest lease contract, or a confirmation paper from the competent authority as prescribed by law;- Land and forest boundaries must be clearly defined on the map and on the ground.
