Criteria for the consideration for awarding "Advanced Laborer" title in the Banking sector in Vietnam as of February 28, 2024

Specifically, the criteria for consideration for awarding the "Advanced Laborer" title in the Banking sector in Vietnam as of February 28, 2024, are stipulated as follows:

- The title of "Advanced Laborer" is annually conferred upon individuals in the Banking sector who adhere strictly to the directives and policies of the Party, the laws of the State, the regulations and statutes of the Banking sector, localities, and their respective units and meet the standards set forth in Clause 1 of Article 24 of the Law on Commendation and Emulation 2022.

- Individuals who perform acts of bravery in saving lives or property, resulting in injuries requiring treatment or convalescence, shall have the period of treatment or convalescence considered when evaluating for the "Advanced Laborer" designation.

- In the case of individuals transferring to a different position, the new unit is responsible for the appraisal and conferral of the "Advanced Laborer" title.

Should there be a period of service at the former unit of six months or more, an assessment from the former unit is required.

- In instances where an individual is seconded or assigned to a different agency, organization, or unit for a specific period, the evaluation and conferral of the "Advanced Laborer" title are to be determined by the seconding or assigning agency, organization, or unit and confirmed by the receiving entity.

- Individuals sent to participate in short-term domestic or international training or professional development programs of less than one year who comply well with the regulations of the training or development institution shall have their study period counted towards their service time at their unit for the appraisal of the "Advanced Laborer" title.

In cases where individuals are sent for training or professional development domestically or abroad for one year or more, comply well with the regulations of the training or development institution, and achieve academic results of at least a 'good' grade, such period shall be counted towards the time for appraisal of the "Advanced Laborer" title.

- The "Advanced Laborer" title shall not be considered for individuals who fall under any of the following circumstances: newly recruited for less than ten months, or disciplined with a penalty of reprimand or higher.
