Criteria for promotion to Architect title from Rank III to Rank II in Vietnam from February 5, 2025

For the public employee professional title in the architectural sector, the standards and conditions for the promotion of the title from Grade III to Grade II during the time of holding a Grade III professional title and equivalent are achieved with one of the specific standards and conditions stipulated in Clause 1, Article 14 of Circular 11/2024/TT-BXD as follows:

- Project leader or head of the specialized subject in architecture, planning, or a main participant of at least one (1) construction planning project or urban planning project under the approval authority of the provincial People's Committee or two (2) construction planning projects, or urban planning projects under the approval authority of the district People's Committee that have been accepted;

- Project leader, head designer, lead design inspector, or a main participant of at least one (1) level II project or two (2) level III projects or three (3) level IV projects that have been accepted;

- Project leader or a main participant of at least one (1) group B project or two (2) group C projects that have been accepted;

- Lead or main participant of at least one (1) scientific and technological task or one (1) ministerial or provincial-level project or two (2) local-level scientific and technological tasks or two (2) local-level projects that have been accepted at an acceptable level or higher;

- Awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Minister or Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, or equivalent or higher.

Note: In addition to the above conditions, architects from Grade III wishing to be considered for promotion must meet the general standards and conditions stipulated in Article 12 of Circular 11/2024/TT-BXD.
