Criteria for Measuring Satisfaction with Public Medical Services

The Ministry of Health has just issued Decision No. 4939/QD-BYT on approving the implementation plan of the Scheme for Measuring Citizen Satisfaction with Public Health Services during the 2016 - 2020 period. To be specific:

- By December 2016, the Ministry of Health promulgated and uniformly implemented the set of documents guiding the method and tools for measuring citizens' satisfaction with public healthcare services;- By 2018, 80% and by 2020, 100% of public service providers in the fields of medical examination, treatment, and preventive healthcare will measure and self-publish citizens' satisfaction indexes regarding public healthcare services;- By 2018, 50% and by 2020, 80% of administrative agencies in the healthcare sector will measure and self-publish citizens' satisfaction indexes with public administrative services.- At least 30% of public healthcare service providers will be annually inspected and monitored for measuring citizens' satisfaction with public healthcare services.
