Recently, on September 17, 2018, the Government of Vietnam issued Decree 122/2018/ND-CP regulating the awarding of titles: “Cultural Family,” "Cultural Hamlet," "Cultural Village," "Cultural Commune," "Cultural Ward," "Cultural Residential Area."
According to the aforementioned Decree, the standards for the title of "Cultural Family" include:
- Exemplary compliance with the guidelines and policies of the Communist Party, laws; active participation in local emulation movements;- A harmonious, happy, progressive family; mutual assistance and support for everyone in the community;- Organizing labor, production, business, work, and studies to achieve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
Each of the above standards comprises multiple evaluation criteria, such as:
- Not being subjected to disciplinary action at work and school;- Regular participation in cultural and artistic activities, sports, and voluntary gratitude activities;- Voluntary, progressive marriages, one husband and one wife, equality, harmony, and faithfulness;- Proper implementation of population and gender equality policies;- Stable economy, legitimate income;- Children attending school, working-age individuals actively working.- ...
