Criteria for awarding the Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment from January 1, 2024 in Vietnam

On November 15, 2023, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam issued Circular 18/2023/TT-BTNMT guiding the Law on Emulation and Commendation for the Natural Resources and Environment sector.

Criteria for awarding the Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment from January 1, 2024 in Vietnam

Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment is awarded or posthumously awarded to exemplary individuals who well comply with the Party's guidelines, policies, and laws of the State and meet one of the following standards:

- Have excellent achievements reviewed in emulation movements launched by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment;

- Achieved many achievements or extraordinary achievements with scope of influence in one of the fields under the management of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment;

- Contributing to socio-economic development, applying scientific and technical advances, social work, and humanitarian charity related to the fields of natural resources and environment; - Individuals at agencies, organizations, and units under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment have been awarded the title "Grassroots Emulation Soldier" twice consecutively or have been recognized for excellently completing tasks for 2 consecutive years or more. During that time, there were 02 initiatives recognized and applied effectively within the facility, or there were 02 scientific topics, scientific projects, and scientific and technological works that have been accepted and applied effectively within the facility;

- Workers, farmers, and laborers have achieved many achievements in labor and production and have a scope of influence in commune-level areas, agencies, units, organizations, and enterprises related to fields within the Natural Resources and Environment sector.

More details can be found in Circular 18/2023/TT-BTNMT taking effect on January 1, 2024 and replacing Circular 21/2018/TT-BTNMT dated November 14, 2018.
