Covid-19: Only practice social distancing in high-risk areas in Vietnam

In order to firmly maintain the results of epidemic prevention and control, and to protect people's health, the Prime Minister of Vietnam requested:

- Continue to strictly implement the strategy of strictly controlling the source of infection from outside, zoning out the epidemic area thoroughly, and effectively treating epidemic in the country;

- Implement 5K requirements in disease prevention and control as recommended by the Ministry of Health of Vietnam, first of all, the mandatory wearing of masks, disinfection in isolated areas, concentrated residential areas, and public places;

- The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City directs to strictly, vigorously and quickly trace all F1, F2 subjects of newly discovered infections, with the highest spirit, achieve maximum results, not to spread round 3;

- Continue to stop activities and events with large gatherings of people if unnecessary; in case of organization, must strictly implement epidemic prevention and control measures such as wearing masks, disinfecting, etc. in accordance with regulations;

- In the case of community transmission, social distancing should be implemented in high-risk and reasonably zoned areas, not apply widespread social distancing on a large scale, adversely affecting people's lives and production and business activities;
