On December 6, 2021, the Vietnamese Government promulgated Decree 107/2021/ND-CP amending Decree 61/2018/ND-CP on implementing the one-stop-shop mechanism dealing with administrative procedures.
According to the Decree, adding a new concept, specifically, the implementation of administrative procedures regardless of administrative boundaries is understood as:
The fact that individuals and organizations may receive and return results from competent agencies or receive, settle and return results of administrative procedures does not depend on the administrative units of the province or district where they reside, are headquartered or where all kinds of papers have been issued to individuals and organizations.
For the facilities and equipment of the Single-window Department, the new Decree has amended and supplemented Point b, Clause 2, Article 13 of Decree 61/2018/ND-CP, in which:
Request One-stop shops in localities to organize instruction counters or counters exclusively for priority subjects such as the elderly, pregnant women, and people with disabilities based on their size and area.
In addition, the Government encourages the integration of utility services to supplement and serve the needs of organizations and individuals when making transactions at the One-stop shop.
Decree 107/2021/ND-CP takes effect from December 6, 2021.
