Correction of Multiple Items in the Import Tariff Schedule

the Government of Vietnam has just issued Official Dispatch 225/CP-KTTH correcting the Import Tariff Schedule. Many commodity codes and tax rates in the Import Tariff Schedule have been corrected.

Currently, there are 05 categories of Import Tariff Schedules that have been rectified, including:

- Preferential Import Tariff Schedule according to the list of taxable items in Appendix II of Decree 125/2017/ND-CP;- Special Preferential Import Tariff Schedule of Vietnam to implement the Vietnam - Eurasian Economic Union Free Trade Agreement and member countries for the period of 2018 - 2022 under Decree 150/2017/ND-CP;- Special Preferential Import Tariff Schedule to implement the Vietnam - Chile Free Trade Agreement under Decree 154/2017/ND-CP;- Special Preferential Import Tariff Schedule to implement the Economic Partnership Agreement between Vietnam and Japan for the period of 2018 - 2023 under Decree 155/2017/ND-CP;- List of goods subject to out-of-quota import tax rates of Vietnam to implement the Agreement Establishing the ASEAN - Australia - New Zealand Free Trade Area under Decree 158/2017/ND-CP.
