Continuing the review of title standards for leadership teams at all levels in Vietnam

Implementing Decree 29/2024/ND-CP of the Government of Vietnam regulating the standards for leadership and managerial positions in state administrative agencies; Following Official Dispatch 5586/BTC-TCCB dated May 30, 2024, from the Ministry of Finance regarding standards for leadership positions as regulated in Decree 29/2024/ND-CP, the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam proposes that the General Departments:

Direct and urge subordinate units and affiliates to continue reviewing the standards for leadership positions at all levels to ensure compliance with the stipulations in Decree 29/2024/ND-CP to organize and implement:

- Facilitate, arrange tasks, and allocate funds to promptly send unit leaders who do not meet the requirements and standards (Political Theory and State Management) to participate in training courses within the stipulated time frame as per Clause 1, Article 34, Decree 29/2024/ND-CP dated March 6, 2024, of the Government of Vietnam.

- Coordinate with the Provincial/City Party Committee's Organization Board, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Provincial School of Politics to register and send officials and public employees to attend Political Theory training classes;

- Coordinate with the National Academy of Public Administration and training institutions with relevant functions to register and send officials and public employees to attend State Management training classes for the subjects as amended and supplemented in Decisions 422/QD-BNV dated June 2, 2022, of the Ministry of Home Affairs promulgating the training program for senior specialist officials and equivalents; Decision 449/QD-BNVdated June 25, 2024, of the Ministry of Home Affairs supplementing training subjects of the training program for senior specialist officials and equivalents; Decision 421/QD-BNVdated June 2, 2022, of the Ministry of Home Affairs promulgating the training program for principal specialist officials and equivalents.
