The Ministry of Transport (GTVT) has just issued Urgent Official Dispatch 3608/BGTVT-VT regarding the implementation of the Prime Minister's directives at the Standing meeting of the Government of Vietnam on April 15, 2020, on the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Ministry of Transport requests agencies and units to continue to fully implement the directives of the Ministry of Transport under Official Dispatch 3064/BGTVT-VT on the implementation of Directive 16/CT-TTg and Official Dispatch 3092/BGTVT-VT on the continued implementation of Directive 16/CT-TTg.
Effective period: From 00:00 on April 16, 2020, until the Prime Minister issues a new directive and further notification from the Ministry of Transport to implement the new directive from the Prime Minister.
The Ministry requests the General Department of Roads of Vietnam, and Departments including Vietnam Civil Aviation, Vietnam Railways, Vietnam Maritime, and Vietnam Inland Waterways to urgently study the Prime Minister's directive at the online meeting of the Standing Committee of the Government of Vietnam on April 15, 2020; develop plans for passenger transportation for provinces and cities classified into different risk groups and report to the Ministry of Transport before 12:00 on April 16, 2020.
