Contents of the price survey in the National Statistical Census in Vietnam

The Prime Minister of Vietnam issued Decision 03/2023/QD-TTg dated February 15, 2023 on the National Statistical Survey Program.

According to Vietnam's Decision 03/2023/QD-TTg, the survey on prices in the National Statistical Census includes such specific contents as:

- Investigation of real estate prices;

Calculating the real estate price index to serve state management agencies in assessing and forecasting real estate market trends and, on that basis, proposing mechanisms and policies to build and develop a healthy market.

Being used to calculate the general statistical indicators according to comparative prices.

- Investigate salary prices;

Calculating the wage price index helps the authorities, production, and business establishments research and develop appropriate wage policies.

Being used to calculate the aggregate statistical indicators according to comparative prices.

And some other price investigation content, such as:

- Investigation of export and import prices;
    
- Consumer price survey (CPI);

- Investigation of prices of raw materials, fuel and materials used for production;

- Investigation of agricultural, forestry and fishery production prices; (New content added)

- Investigation of industrial production prices; (New content added)

- Investigation of service production prices;

- Investigation of construction production prices;

(Compared to Vietnam's Decision 43/2016/QD-TTg, there is no longer a regulation on the investigation of producer prices of goods)

Vietnam's Decision 03/2023/QD-TTg takes effect on January 1, 2023, replacing Vietnam's Decision 43/2016/QD-TTg.
