On December 8, 2023, the Ministry of Home Affairs of Vietnam issued Decision 996/QD-BNV approving the Ministry's Inspection Plan for 2024.

Contents of the Inspection Plan for 2024 of the Ministry of Home Affairs of Vietnam 

The Inspection Plan for 2024 of the Ministry of Home Affairs will have three main contents, including:

(1) Administrative inspections and specialized inspections will be chaired by the Ministry Inspectorate.

(2) Specialized inspections on emulation and commendation work will be chaired by the Central Emulation and Commendation Committee.

(3) Specialized inspections on belief and religious affairs will be chaired by the Government Committee for Religious Affairs.

For example, the detailed content of specialized inspections on emulation and commendation work chaired and conducted by the Central Emulation and Commendation Committee is as follows:

- First quarter of 2024: inspect the implementation of legal regulations on emulation and reward work in Hai Duong province.

- Second quarter of 2024

+ Inspect the implementation of legal regulations on emulation and commendation work at the Ministry of Education and Training

+ Inspect the implementation of legal regulations on emulation and reward work in Thua Thien Hue province.

- Third quarter of 2024

+ Inspect the implementation of legal regulations on emulation and reward work in An Giang province.

+ Inspect the implementation of legal regulations on emulation and reward work in Ninh Thuan province.

- Fourth quarter of 2024

+ Inspect the implementation of legal regulations on emulation and commendation work at the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.

+ Inspect the implementation of legal regulations on emulation and commendation work at the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.

The purpose of the 2024 Inspection Plan is to detect loopholes in management mechanisms, policies, and laws to propose to competent state agencies solutions and remedies; prevent, detect, and handle violations of the law; help agencies, organizations, and individuals comply with the law; promote positive factors; contribute to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management activities of the Ministry of Home Affairs; and protect the interests of the state and the legitimate rights and interests of agencies, organizations, and individuals.
