Content and program of professional sports training in Vietnam

On September 8, 2021, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam promulgated Circular 07/2021/TT-BVHTTDL< /a> regulations on professional sports training for sports training instructors.

According to this circular, the contents of professional sports training include:

- The viewpoints, guidelines and lines of the Party, policies and laws of the State of Vietnam on physical training and sports; basic knowledge of the laws relevant to sports training;

- The principles of sports training;

- The basic techniques of the sport;

- Laws of competition, methods of training and competition organization of the sport;

- Basic knowledge of safety, hygiene, medical care and nutrition for participants in sports practice;

- Rescue method (for water sports activities, extreme sports activities);

- Contents of testing and evaluation of training results.

About the training program: The General Department of Physical Education and Sports shall develop a professional training program for the training instructors of each sport and the requirements on professional qualifications for trainers to submit to the Minister of Culture, Vietnam Sports and Tourism decided.
