Consulate General of Vietnam: Health Declaration Mandatory for All Incoming Individuals

Recently, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Nanning issued Official Telegram 274/TLSQ.NN regarding the strengthening of disease control from abroad at land and water border gates.

on April 3, 2020, the Guangxi Command for COVID-19 Epidemic Prevention issued a Notification on strengthening the management of epidemics from abroad at land and water border gates. The Consulate General provided information to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Health, and others detailing the main contents of this Notification, including the following:

- Strictly implement the “10 measures” for epidemic prevention from abroad in border villages, hamlets, and communes, enhancing management according to specific areas and inspection methods, eliminating epidemics, etc.;- Mandatory health declaration for all individuals entering, with honest disclosure of information in the Chinese entry and exit health declaration form. Local authorities at border gates will enforce centralized quarantine and medical supervision for 14 days for all entrants;- Enforce strict epidemic prevention for border residents' goods exchange activities;- …
