The Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam has just signed Decision 772/QD-TTg on the organization of the 2019 Population and Housing Census.

At 12:00 AM on April 1, 2019, a nationwide Population and Housing Census 2019 will be conducted according to the following 10 contents:

- General information about the population;- Migration status;- Educational and technical skill level;- Disability status;- Marital status;- Birth, death, and population growth rates;- Birth registration status of children;- Labor and employment status;- Housing conditions;- Basic living conditions of households.

The information collection period for the Census is 25 days, starting from April 1, 2019.

Decision 772/QD-TTg is effective from June 26, 2018.
