According to the provisions of Decree 85/2018/ND-CP, issued on May 30, 2018, automobiles serving positions, general tasks, and special-purpose vehicles in units of the People's Armed Forces are to be liquidated when specific conditions are met.

- The expiration period as prescribed by law on policies managing the depreciation and amortization of fixed assets has been exceeded;- Used over 200,000 km for mountainous areas, islands, areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions, or used over 250,000 km for other areas;- Damaged beyond repair or repair is not cost-effective (estimated cost exceeding 30% of the original price).

Additionally, units with surplus vehicles will be transferred to other units.
