Conditions for Taking the Examination for Promotion of Public Employee Rank in Social Insurance

This content is mentioned in Decision 401/QD-BHXH on the promulgation of the Plan to organize the promotion exam for public employees from staff, officers, and equivalent positions to specialist positions in 2016.

Public employees working in positions under the Vietnam Social Security system holding the ranks of assistant, specialist, and equivalent, or college-level specialist and equivalent, who meet the following conditions are eligible to register for the rank promotion exam:- Have held the rank of specialist and equivalent for a minimum of 3 years (36 months) or more, excluding probationary and trainee periods.In cases where the employee holds the rank of assistant, the duration of holding the rank of assistant or the equivalent must be at least 5 years (60 months), excluding probationary and trainee periods. They should be assigned to a job position that requires the specialist rank appropriate to their trained professional level.- Have good political qualities, ethics, and a healthy lifestyle; not currently under disciplinary action or awaiting consideration by the competent authority for disciplinary action.- Have been assessed and classified at the level of completing tasks well or higher for 3 consecutive years up to December 31, 2015, and until the time of submitting the application for the rank promotion exam.More details can be found in Decision [401/QD-BHXH](http://lawnet.vn/vb/quyet-dinh-401-qd-bhxh-2016-ke-hoach-thi-nang-ngach-vien-chuc-4ab56.html) dated March 17, 2016.**Quy Tan**
