Conditions for Staff Supporting the Education of Persons with Disabilities

This content is stipulated in Joint Circular 19/2016/TTLT-BGDDT-BNV regulating the codes and standards for professional titles of support staff for the education of people with disabilities in public educational institutions.

Education support staff for persons with disabilities must:

- Hold a diploma from an intermediate or higher education program specialized in supporting the education of persons with disabilities, or hold a diploma from an intermediate or higher program in one of the following fields: pedagogy, healthcare, social work, psychology, and have a professional certificate in supporting the education of persons with disabilities;- Have a Level 1 (A1) foreign language proficiency according to the 6-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework for Vietnam or a certificate in an ethnic minority language for positions requiring the use of an ethnic minority language;- Possess basic information technology skills as regulated in Circular 03/2014/TT-BTTTT.

Joint Circular 19/2016/TTLT-BGDDT-BNV takes effect from August 15, 2016.
