The Central Executive Committee has just issued Regulation 05-QDi/TW guiding the admission of individuals who violate population policy and family planning into the Communist Party.
Party members who have been expelled from the Communist Party due to having a third child specifically, as well as violating population and family planning policies in general, are eligible for reconsideration for re-admission to the Communist Party if they meet the following conditions:
- Meet the standards and conditions according to the Charter of the Communist Party, the regulations, guidelines of the Central Committee, and the actual requirements for the work of building the Communist Party in the localities and units;- Party members have credibility within their agencies, units, neighborhood communities, and receive high evaluations from the Party committees at their workplace and residence;- Party members have a minimum striving period of 24 months (in cases of violation by having the third child) or 36 months (in cases of violation by having the fourth child) from the date of expulsion from the Communist Party to the date the Party cell meets to consider recommending re-admission to the Communist Party.
Regulation 05-QDi/TW is effective from August 28, 2018, replacing Regulation 173-QD/TW dated March 11, 2013, issued by the Secretariat of the XI term.
