On October 8, 2021, the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam has Decision 1776/QD-BGTVT promulgating Provisional Regulations on deploying regular domestic passenger routes to ensure safe, flexible adaptation and effective control of the COVID-19 epidemic.
According to this Circular, passengers travelling by plane must meet the following conditions:
- Must have received a full dose of vaccine against COVID-19 (green card on Electronic Health Book/PC-COVID or certificate of the full dose of vaccine issued by a competent authority, the last dose has been administered at least 14 days) or has recovered from COVID-19 within 6 months by the time of returning to the locality (with discharge certificate/certificate of recovery from COVID-19);
- Have negative test results for SARS-CoV-2 by RT-PCR or antigen rapid test within 72 hours before boarding;
- Make medical declaration as prescribed, complete the commitment and transfer it to the airline representative when checking in at the departure point;
- Do not join the flight when you have symptoms of cough, fever, shortness of breath, muscle aches, sore throat, etc.
On the plane: Wear a mask, disinfect your hands, limit contact...
