Conditions for Granting Business Licenses for Products and Services of Network Information Security

Effective from July 1, 2016, Decree 108/2016/ND-CP stipulates detailed conditions for the business of network information security products and services.

Businesses manufacturing cybersecurity products shall be granted a 10-year business license for cybersecurity products and services when they meet the conditions stipulated in Article 42 of the Law on Cyber Information Security 2015 and the following conditions:

- The system of equipment, facilities, and production technology is appropriate for the cybersecurity product business plan;- The management and executive team meets the professional requirements regarding information security; the technical team possesses university degrees in relevant fields or certificates in information security, information technology, or telecommunications electronics with a number of personnel sufficient to meet the scale and requirements of the business plan;- The appropriate business plan includes: the scope of subjects to whom the product is provided; the type of products expected to be produced; compliance with relevant technical standards and regulations for each type of product; the basic technical features of the product.
