Conditions for achieving a model new rural commune in the 2021-2025 period

On March 8, 2022, the Prime Minister issued Decision 319/QD-TTg defining model new rural communes for the period 2021-2025.

Accordingly, the model new rural communes for the period 2021-2025 are defined as communes:

- Reaching new and advanced rural standards for the period of 2021-2025;

For communes that have been recognized as meeting the newly-advanced rural standards in the 2018-2020 period, they must focus on reviewing and directing the implementation, fully meeting the standards required by the National Criteria on Social Affairs. newly enhanced rural areas in the period of 2021-2025.

- The per capita income of the commune at the time of consideration and recognition of the model new rural commune must be 10% or more higher than the per capita income level applied under regulations for new rural communes. enhanced at the same time.

- There is at least one smart village model, specified by the Provincial People's Committee.

- Satisfying the criteria specified that the new rural commune is a model model in at least one of the most outstanding fields (in terms of production, education, culture, tourism, security and order...) with specific values. of the locality, promulgated by the People's Committee of the province.

Decision 319/QD-TTg takes effect from March 8, 2022.
