Codes of science and technology task managed by the Ministry of Health in Vietnam

The codes of science and technology tasks managed by the Ministry of Health are recorded as follows:
CT.XXX/YY, DT.XXX/YY, DA.XXX/YY, DASXTN.XXX/YY, DAKHCN.XXX/YY, NVTN.XXX/YY, TNLS.XXX/YY. In there:

- CT is the common symbol for ministerial-level science and technology programs.

- DT is the common symbol for ministerial-level science and technology projects.

- DA is a common symbol for ministerial-level science and technology projects.

- DASXTN is the common symbol for experimental production projects at ministerial level.

- DAKHCN is the common symbol for ministerial-level science and technology projects.

- NVTN is a common symbol for potential ministerial-level science and technology tasks.

- TNLS is the common symbol for clinical trials.

- Group XXX is a 3-digit group that records the ordinal numbers of science and technology tasks approved during the year.

- Group YY is a 2-digit group recording the last two numbers of the year of approval of ministerial-level science and technology tasks.

- Between the group of letters symbolizing the field and the group of numbers recording the ordinal numbers of scientific and technological tasks approved during the year is a dot; between the group of digits recording the serial number of science and technology tasks approved during the year and the group of digits recording the last two numbers of the year of approval of ministerial-level science and technology tasks is a slash.

Circular 24/2023/TT-BYT takes effect on February 3, 2024. Circular 37/2010/TT-BYT expires on February 3, 2024.

**Transitional provision: Scientific and technological tasks submitted by the Ministry before February 3, 2024, shall continue to be implemented according to the regulations in effect at the time of submission, except in cases where the leading organization of the task proposes additional explanatory documents or a volunteer agrees to implement them according to the provisions of Circular 24/2023/TT-BYT.

**Terms of reference: In cases where the referenced legal normative documents applicable to Circular 24/2023/TT-BYT are amended or replaced, the application shall follow the amended, supplemented, or replaced legal normative documents.
