Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court does not interfere in the adjudication of the People's Courts

According to Decision 1279/QD-TANDTC of the Supreme People's Court (SPC), the allocation of work between the Chief Justice and the Deputy Chief Justices must ensure the following principles:

- Fulfill all functions and duties of the Supreme People's Court;- Execute the responsibilities and powers of the Chief Justice and Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court; do not interfere in the adjudication of the People's Courts;- Ensure stability, inheritance, and gradual adjustment to fit appropriately. When there is a reassignment of tasks between Deputy Chief Justices, the Deputy Chief Justices must hand over the relevant work content, files, and documents to each other and report to the Chief Justice;- Ensure reasonableness, effectiveness, efficiency, and convenience in handling work.

In work relations, the Chief Justice assigns tasks to the Deputy Chief Justices to directly manage regularly and comprehensively within the assigned scope. If necessary, the Chief Justice directly handles the tasks assigned to the Deputy Chief Justices.
