Change of the scope of cadre reassignment in Vietnam

The Party Central Committee promulgates the Regulation No. 65/QĐ-TW on rotation of cadres, with a change in the rotation of cadres in Vietnam.

Accordingly, the rotation scope is prescribed in Vietnam as follows:

- They are transferred from superior to subordinate levels, from lower to superior levels, from one locality to another;

- Circulation among agencies and organizations of the same level in the political system.

(Former, according to Regulation 98-QD/TW:

- They are transferred from central to local levels; from one locality to another; from the locality to the grassroots and vice versa in Vietnam;

- Circulation between the agencies, units of the Party, state, Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, armed forces, public non-business units, state enterprises).

The Decision No. 65/QD-TW comes into force from April 28, 2022 and replaces the Regulation No. 98-QD/TW dated October 07, 2017.
