Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Trade promulgated Circular No. 14/2020/TT-BCT providing guidelines on certain regulations concerning specialized inspection in the field of Industry and Trade.

Circular 14 stipulates that the head of the agency assigned to perform specialized inspection functions shall issue a Decision to temporarily suspend the use of the Card for the person assigned to perform specialized inspection tasks under their management and report to the Ministry of Industry and Trade in one of the following cases:

- Engaging in illegal activities in the inspection operation as prescribed by law where no decision on handling has been made;- Being temporarily suspended from work for review and disciplinary action;- Being disciplined in the form of a reprimand or higher;- Being prosecuted, temporarily detained, or imprisoned.

Note: After there is a conclusion from the competent authority proving that the Cardholder did not violate the law during the performance of official duties, the head of the agency shall issue a Decision to annul the Decision to temporarily suspend the use of the Card.
