Capitation payment of costs of covered healthcare services cease to be effective nationwide in Vietnam

On December 1, 2021, the Ministry of Health of Vietnam issued Circular 22/2021/TT-BYT cease the effect of Circular 04/2021/TT-BYT providing guidance on capitation payment of costs of covered healthcare services

According to the Circular, Circular 04/2021/TT-BYT dated April 29, 2021, providing guidance on capitation payment of costs of covered healthcare services will fully be expired nationwide.

Capitation payment of costs of covered healthcare services from January 1, 2021 are paid according to the price of medical examination and treatment services specified in Decree 146/2018/ND-CP dated October 17, 2018.

Note: The time when the content above expired will be from December 1, 2021 until the effective date of a new legislatie document providing guidance on capitation payment of costs of covered healthcare services

Circular 22/2021/TT-BYT takes effect from December 1, 2021.
