By 2030: To eliminate all expired motor vehicles and self-made three-/four-wheeled vehicles in Vietnam

Recently, the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam has issued Decision 419/QD-BGTVT in 2021 approving the Implementation Plan of the National Strategy to ensure order and security road traffic in the period of 2021–2030 with a vision to 2045.

Promulgated together with Vietnam's Decision 419/QD-BGTVT is the task of implementing the national strategy to ensure road traffic order and safety for the period 2021 - 2030 and a vision to 2045, for example:

- Restoring the order of road safety corridors and preventing re-encroachment; for roads running parallel to railways through residential areas, it is necessary to build a system of collecting roads, limiting connections; complete the elimination of self-opening passages through the railway by 2025 (according to Vietnam's Decision 358/QD-TTg dated March 10, 2020 of the Prime Minister of Vietnam);

- Elimination of expired motor vehicles and self-made three-and four-wheeled vehicles that are not allowed to participate in traffic; attach the responsibility of the head of local government in the implementation;

- Deploying a comprehensive application of vehicle journey monitoring systems; drowsy driving warning system; camera system to monitor images of transport business vehicles by car; the safety management system, operating the bus station, operating the vehicles of transport enterprises by automobile; using electronic toll collection accounts to make multi-purpose payments for road traffic services and pay fines for violations;
