By 2030: Reduce All Forms of Violence Against Women and Children

This is one of the notable objectives stipulated in Decision 681/QD-TTg on the Roadmap for Implementing Vietnam's Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

Strive towards 2030 to significantly reduce all forms of violence against women and girls in public and private places, including trafficking, sexual exploitation, and other forms of exploitation.

The specific implementation roadmap is as follows:

- The rate of women subjected to violence who are detected, supported, and promptly intervened: strive to reach 70% by 2020; 80% by 2025; and 90% by 2030.

- The rate of girls subjected to violence and abuse who are reported, detected, supported, and promptly intervened: strive to reach 100% from 2020 to 2030.

In addition, Decision 681 also sets the goal to restrict towards eliminating practices such as child marriage, early marriage, and forced marriage by 2030.
