The Central Committee of Vietnam issued Resolution 19-NQ/TW in 2022 stipulating the vision and goal on agriculture, farmers, and rural areas till 2030 and a vision till 2045.
According to the Resolution, building a new rural area to develop comprehensively and sustainably in association with urbanization ensures the substance, goes into depth and efficiency for the benefit of the people:
Continuing to perfect the criteria for new rural construction; implementing the construction of advanced new rural areas; modeling new rural areas; and constructing new rural areas at village and village level.
Planning and architecture of residential areas, works, and houses in accordance with cultural traditions, landscapes, environment, current conditions of each locality, and adaptation to climate change; application of science and technology in rural architecture design, management, and construction.
Improving living conditions, housing, renewing thinking and lifestyle, preserving and promoting national cultural identity, ensuring political security, social order, and safety, and closing the development gap between rural and urban areas, as well as between regions and regions.
Combine socioeconomic development with national defense and security consolidation and strengthening, ensuring sustainable socioeconomic development in border areas, seas, islands, and disadvantaged areas.
Investing in building a synchronous and modern rural infrastructure, connecting with urban areas, especially areas near large urban centers, towns, and townships, gradually approaching the infrastructure and service conditions of metropolitan areas;
