Basic procedures for acceptance of projects investing in information technology applications in Vietnam from February 14, 2025

The basic procedures in acceptance testing are as follows:

- Conduct testing or trial operation before organizing the acceptance of products, project work items.

+ For equipment, hardware, commercial software, and common software, the implementing contractor leads and cooperates with the investor to organize trial operations.

The content of the trial operation is guided in Appendix 1 of Appendix II issued together with Circular 16/2024/TT-BTTTT. The results of the trial operation are compiled into a report by the implementing contractor;

+ For internal software, depending on the level of quality requirements and actual conditions, the investor shall consider and decide on the form of testing or trial operation and shall be responsible for their decision.

The content of the trial operation of internal software is guided in Appendix 2 of Appendix II issued together with Circular 16/2024/TT-BTTTT. During the trial operation of internal software, the investor needs to control software quality concerning non-functional requirements based on the internal testing report results of the implementing contractor. The trial operation results of internal software are compiled into a report by the investor.

The content and results of testing are guided in Appendix 3 of Appendix II issued together with Circular 16/2024/TT-BTTTT. The test results are documented in a report by the investor (if conducted independently) or by an independent testing unit (if outsourced).

- Conduct acceptance of the project's products, work items as prescribed.
