Assessment and Classification of Preschool Principals According to New Standards

The Ministry of Education and Training promulgates Circular 25/2018/TT-BGDDT dated October 08, 2018, stipulating new standards for principals of preschool educational institutions.

From November 23, 2018, the evaluation and rating of the results of the preschool principal evaluation shall be applied according to the new regulations as follows:

- Meeting principal standards at a good level: All criteria must be at least fairly achieved, with at least 2/3 of the criteria reaching a good level, including criteria 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14, and 15 at a good level;- Meeting principal standards at a fairly good level: All criteria must be at least met, with at least 2/3 of the criteria reaching a fairly good level, including criteria 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14, and 15 at a fairly good level;- Meeting principal standards: All criteria must be assessed at an achieved level or higher;- Not meeting principal standards: There are criteria that are not met.

Unlike previous regulations, the evaluation is based on the total score, the level of achievement of the criteria, and the classification according to the levels of excellent, fairly good, average, and not meeting standards - poor.
