Approval of the Scheme for enhancing digital transformation in the field of ethnic affairs until 2030 by the Government of Vietnam

With the objective of enhancing digital transformation in the field of ethnic affairs aiming for the development of Electronic Government of Vietnam, towards Digital Government of Vietnam in state management agencies regarding ethnic affairs, developing digital economy, and digital society in ethnic minority areas, promoting the national digital transformation process, contributing to economic development, ensuring social welfare, and preserving and promoting the good cultural identities of Vietnam's ethnic minorities.

By 2025, the Scheme sets the objective to establish and complete the legal framework, policy mechanisms for the enhancement of digital transformation in the field of ethnic affairs.

- Develop and issue the implementation plan for the Scheme "Enhancing Digital Transformation in the Field of Ethnic Affairs until 2030."

- Establish and operate the Data Center at the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs.

During the period from 2026 to 2030: 100% of the leadership of the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs will use personal digital signatures in processing documents and work dossiers in a digital environment.

- 100% of policy summary reports, periodical reports, statistical reports in the field of ethnic affairs serving the leadership and management of the Government of Vietnam, Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam will be connected, integrated, and shared as information and data on the Government of Vietnam's reporting information system.

- 100% of administrative procedures in state management agencies on ethnic affairs will be carried out through complete online public services.

- Build and issue a set of indices for the field of ethnic affairs serving the leadership and management based on the digital data of the leadership of the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs.

- Establish and update the databases on ethnic affairs, databases on Vietnam's ethnic minorities, connect, and share information, data on the Data Integration and Sharing Platform (LGSP) of the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs.

- 100% of open data in the field of ethnic affairs will be published and updated according to regulations.

- 100% of officials and public employees within state management agencies on ethnic affairs will be trained, instructed, and fostered in digital transformation...
