The Prime Minister has just issued Decision No. 1066/QD-TTg on approving the staffing payroll funded by the state budget of state administrative agencies and the staffing of special organizations operating nationwide in 2020.

The total official personnel in 2020 for the state administrative agencies, organizations, Vietnamese representative agencies abroad, unique characteristic associations nationwide, and reserve officials is 253,517 personnel. Of which:

- State administrative agencies and organizations under ministries, ministerial-level agencies, agencies under the Government of Vietnam, organizations established by the Government of Vietnam, and the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam which are not public service providers: 108,368 personnel;- State administrative agencies and organizations under the agencies of the People's Council, the People's Committee at provincial and district levels: 142,767 personnel;- Vietnamese representative agencies abroad: 1,068 personnel;- Unique characteristic associations: 686 personnel;- Reserve officials: 628 personnel.
