On October 14, 2024, the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam issued Decision 1182/QD-TTg to abolish Directive 20/CT-TTg regarding the rectification of inspection and examination at enterprises in Vietnam
- The complete repeal of Directive 20/CT-TTg dated May 17, 2017, issued by the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam regarding the rectification of inspection and examination at enterprises.
- The Government Inspectorate of Vietnam, within its scope of functions and duties, is responsible for:
+ Guiding agencies performing inspection functions to conduct inspections for enterprises in compliance with the provisions of the Law on Inspection, Decree 43/2023/ND-CP dated June 30, 2023, by the Government of Vietnam, detailing certain articles and measures for the implementation of the Law on Inspection; Decree 03/2024/ND-CP dated January 11, 2024, by the Government of Vietnam on agencies performing specialized inspection functions and the activities of agencies assigned to perform specialized inspection functions.
+ Guiding agencies performing inspection functions to develop and implement annual inspection plans in accordance with legal provisions; promptly handling overlaps and duplications in inspection activities.
- Decision 1182/QD-TTg takes effect in Vietnam from the date it is signed and issued.
The Minister, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of agencies under the Government of Vietnam, chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally affiliated cities, agencies performing inspection functions, and related agencies, organizations, and units are responsible for implementing Decision 1182/QD-TTg.
