Announcement of the System of Statistical Indicators of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Sector of Vietnam

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam has promulgated Circular 11/2021/TT-BVHTTDL dated October 6, 2021 determining the system of statistical indicators for the culture, sports and tourism sectors.

According to this circular, the system of indicators will be divided according to each field under the management authority of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam. Specifically, there are 5 groups according to Appendix I attached to this Circular as follows:

1. General State management;

2. Culture field;

3. Family Sector;

4. The field of physical training and sports;

5. Tourism Sector.

In particular, each group will have specific targets, for example in the field of Culture, including typical indicators such as the number of festival activities, the number of advertising activities, the number of karaoke and discotheque business activities. ...

In addition, in Appendix II of this Circular, there are instructions on the content of each statistical indicator. Statistical content revolves around 5 factors: (1) Concept, calculation method; (2) Key elements; (3) Publication period; (4) Data source and (5) Unit responsible for data collection and synthesis.

During the implementation process, if relevant agencies and units need implementation guidance, they should contact the Department of Planning and Finance for support.

Circular 11/2021/TT-BVHTTDL of Vietnam takes effect from January 1, 2022.
