Announcement of 05 amended administrative procedures in health finance under Decree 75/2023/ND-CP in Vietnam

05 amended administrative procedures in the field of health insurance within the scope of management functions of the Ministry of Health specified in Decree 75/2023/ND-CP include:

(1) Procedures for medical examination and treatment covered by health insurance.

Implementing agency: establishments of medical services covered by health insurance, Social Insurance Agency.

(2) Conclude a contract for medical services covered by health insurance for the first time.

Implementing agency: establishments of medical services covered by health insurance, Social Insurance Agency.

(3) Conclude an annual contract for medical services covered by health insurance.

Implementing agency: establishments of medical services covered by health insurance, Social Insurance Agency.

(4) Conclude a health insurance medical examination and treatment contract for medical examination and treatment facilities approved by competent authorities to supplement functions, tasks, scope of expertise, and hospital class in performing medical examination and treatment.

Implementing agency: establishments of medical services covered by health insurance, Social Insurance Agency.

(5) Payment of medical examination and treatment costs in some cases between the medical examination and treatment facility and the Social Insurance agency.

Implementing agency: establishments of medical services covered by health insurance, Social Insurance Agency.

More details can be found in Decision 4524/QD-BYT 2023, taking effect on December 3, 2023, and replacing Decision 4384/QD-BYT dated December 1, 2023, issued by the Minister of Health.
