Announcement of 04 administrative procedures on recruitment and admission of public employees in Vietnam

Recently, the Ministry of Home Affairs of Vietnam has issued the Decision No. 1065/QĐ-BNV on the publication of administrative procedures specified in the Decree No. 138/2020/NĐ-CP dated November 27, 2020 of Vietnam’s Government on recruitment, employment and management of officials.

Issued together with the Decision No. 1065/QĐ-BNV are 04 administrative procedures specified in Decree No. 138/2020/NĐ-CP of Vietnam’s Government on recruitment, employment and management of officials.

For recruitment exam procedures for officials, the agency competent to recruit public employees must publish the recruitment notice publicly at least once on one of the following mass media: printed newspaper, electronic newspaper, oral newspaper, newspaper with images; and at the same time post on the website or portal and publicly post it at the office of the agency competent to recruit.

Contents of the recruitment notice include:

- Number of officials to be recruited for each job position;

- Number of job positions performing the recruitment examination and admission;

- Criteria and conditions for applying for registration;

- Time limit, address and place to receive the application form, mobile or fixed phone number of the individual or department assigned to receive the application form;

- Form and content of recruitment examination and admission; time and place of recruitment examination and admission.
