Amendments to the regulations on organizing evaluations and obtaining opinions on application for assessments for achieving new rural standards in Vietnam

Decision 03/2024/QD-TTg has amended Article 11 of the regulations accompanying Decision 18/2022/QD-TTg on organizing evaluations and obtaining opinions on application for assessments for achieving new rural standards (NRS) and higher-level new rural standards for districts, towns, and provincial-level cities that have completed their tasks in building new rural areas as follows:

- The district People's Committee will organize the construction of reports on the results of implementing the construction of NRS, higher-level NRS (for the district), and NRS (for towns and cities); send the reports to obtain the opinions of the Fatherland Front and political-social organizations at the district level, as well as the People's Committees of communes within the area (for districts without administrative units at the commune level, the reports will be sent to obtain the opinions of the Fatherland Front and political-social organizations at the district level); the reports will be published in mass media and on the electronic information portal of the district within a period of 15 days for wide dissemination and to receive feedback from the people.

- The district People's Committee will supplement and improve the reports on the results of implementing NRS, higher-level NRS upon receiving written opinions from the Fatherland Front and political-social organizations at the district level, as well as the People's Committees of communes within the area. For districts without administrative units at the commune level, the district People's Committee will supplement and improve the reports on the results of implementing NRS upon receiving written opinions from the Fatherland Front and political-social organizations at the district level.
