Amendments to regulations on Group 2 measuring instruments in Vietnam from November 22, 2024

Amendment and supplementation of certain articles in Circular 23/2013/TT-BKHCN dated September 26, 2013, by the Minister of Science and Technology of Vietnam regulating Group 2 measuring instruments in Vietnam as follows:

- Replace the phrase "General Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality" with the phrase "National Committee of Standards, Metrology and Quality" in Article 5; Article 27; Clause 1 of Article 32.

Replace the phrase "General Department" with "Committee" in Article 5; Clause 2 of Article 6; Article 7; Article 8; Clauses 2 and 3 of Article 9; point a Clause 1 and point b Clause 2 of Article 10; Clause 1 of Article 11; Article 12; Clauses 1 and 6 of Article 13; Clause 2 of Article 14; Clauses 2 and 3 of Article 15; Clauses 1 and 2 of Article 16; Clauses 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and Clause 7 of Article 17; Clauses 2 and 3 of Article 18; Clauses 1, 3, and Clause 4 of Article 20; Clause 2 of Article 21; point a Clause 1 and Clause 3 of Article 22; Clause 7 of Article 23; Clause 6 of Article 26; Clause 1 of Article 31.

- Replace certain phrases in the forms of the Appendix issued with Circular 23/2013/TT-BKHCN as follows:

+ Replace the phrase "General Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality" with "National Committee of Standards, Metrology and Quality" and replace the phrase "General Department" with "Committee" in Form 1.DNPDM of the Appendix.

+ Replace the phrase "General Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality" with "National Committee of Standards, Metrology and Quality" in Form 2.CKPM of the Appendix.

+ Replace the phrase "General Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality" with "National Committee of Standards, Metrology and Quality" in Form 3.BCPDM of the Appendix.

+ Replace the phrase "General Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality" with "National Committee of Standards, Metrology and Quality" and replace the phrase "General Department" with "Committee" in Form 5.DNGHPDM of the Appendix.

More details can be found in Circular 07/2024/TT-BKHCN which comes into force in Vietnam from November 22, 2024.
