Amendments to regulations on declaration of eligibility to produce insecticidal preparations for household in Vietnam from November 30, 2024

The regulation on declaring eligibility to produce insecticidal preparations for household is amended in Clause 1, Article 1 of Decree 129/2024/ND-CP as follows:

- Before manufacturing the products, the legal representative of the manufacturing facility must submit a declaration dossier that includes documents as stipulated in Article 7 of Decree 91/2016/ND-CP to the Department of Health where the facility is located, either directly, online, or via post. The facility is allowed to produce products after the Department of Health publicly announces the information as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 8 of Decree 91/2016/ND-CP on the Department's electronic information portal.

- Within 03 working days, from the date of receipt of the facility's declaration dossier, the Department of Health is responsible for publicly announcing on its electronic information portal and sending to the Ministry of Health of Vietnam the following information: name, address, and contact telephone number of the manufacturing facility.

- Within 15 days, from the date of any change in name or address, the facility must notify the Department of Health where the facility is located of such changes;

Annually, the facility is responsible for notifying any other changes (if any) not covered by Clause 3, Article 8 of Decree 91/2016/ND-CP to the Department of Health where the facility is located for information update.

- Within 03 working days, from the date of receipt of the facility's notification as stipulated in Clause 3, Article 8 of Decree 91/2016/ND-CP, the Department of Health where the facility is located shall update the information on its electronic information portal and send the changed information to the Ministry of Health of Vietnam.
