Amendments to Regulation 69-QD/TW on the discipline of organizations and members of Vietnam Communist Party violating regulations

Regulation 264-QD/TW dated February 14, 2025, amends and supplements certain provisions of Regulation 69-QD/TW dated July 6, 2022, concerning discipline for party organizations and members in violation as follows:

- Amending and supplementing Point e, Clause 1, Article 6: Knowing but not preventing or allowing officials and party members under one's direct management to commit corruption, wastefulness, or negative acts causing serious consequences.

- Amending and supplementing Point e, Clause 2, Article 11: Covering up, not handling, improperly handling, or not recommending handling of party members involved in such acts as office-seeking, power-seeking, corruption, wastefulness, negative acts, using unlawful diplomas, certificates, certifications.

- Amending and supplementing the name of Article 17: Violating regulations on preventing and combating corruption, wastefulness, negative acts.

- Amending and supplementing Points b and c, Clause 1, Article 17:

+ Failing to lead, direct, urge, inspect, or supervise subordinate party organizations and officials, party members in implementing the Communist Party's regulations and the State's laws on preventing and combating corruption, wastefulness, negative acts as prescribed.

+ Neglecting leadership, management; lacking in inspection and supervision to promptly detect and handle corruption, wastefulness, negative acts within party organizations, agencies, units.

- Amending and supplementing Points a, b, c, d, and dd, Clause 2, Article 17:

+ Not handling, covering up, endorsing for organizations, individuals involved in corruption, wastefulness, negative acts and violating regulations on declaration, publicizing, controlling assets, income.

+ Issuing resolutions, directives, regulations at one's level concerning preventing and combating corruption, wastefulness, negative acts contrary to the Communist Party's policies, the State's laws.

+ Failing to handle acts of corruption, wastefulness, negative acts in agencies, units, localities under direct management.

+ Not leading, directing, or obstructing the activities of recovering money, assets obtained from corruption, wastefulness, negative acts.

+ Directing only internal or administrative handling for individuals involved in corruption, wastefulness, negative acts with criminal signs.
