Amendments to district-level statistics on land and population in Vietnam

Below is the content at Decision 05/2023/QD-TTg dated 24/02/2023 on the system of statistical indicators at provincial, district and commune levels in Vietnam.

According to Vietnam's Decision 05/2023/QD-TTg, the statistical indicators on land, population, and gender equality at district level are added as follows:

- Land area and structure;

- Population, population density;

- Number of marriage cases;

- Number of divorce cases; (Additional criteria)

- Number of children under 05 years of age who have been registered for birth;

(Currently the percentage of children under 5 years old who have been registered for birth)

- Number of deaths registered for death registration;

- Percentage of women participating in party committees.

The concept and method of calculation; main division; publication period; data sources and agencies responsible for collection and synthesis are all included in the content of each district-level statistical indicator. The content of each commune-level statistical indicator includes the concept and method of calculation; main division; publication period, and the data source.

Vietnam's Decision 05/2023/QD-TTg takes effect from April 15, 2023 and replaces Vietnam's Decision 54/2016/QD-TTg.
