Amendments to 2024's Program on Formulation of Laws and Ordinances in Vietnam (Resolution 129/2024/QH15)

Amendments to 2024's Program on Formulation of Laws and Ordinances in Vietnam

To be included in the Program, submitted to the National Assembly of Vietnam for opinions and approval at the 7th session (June 2024) following the one-session procedure and simplified order and procedures for the following projects and drafts:

(1) The Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of Land Law No. 31/2024/QH15, Housing Law No. 27/2023/QH15, Real Estate Business Law No. 29/2023/QH15, Credit Institutions Law No. 32/2024/QH15 (the official name of the Law will be considered and decided by the National Assembly when deliberating and passing the Law project);

(2) The National Assembly's resolution on the reduction of value-added tax (report to the National Assembly to pass a resolution at the 7th session, 15th National Assembly).

Additionally, to be submitted to the National Assembly of Vietnam for opinions at the 8th session (October 2024) are the following projects:

- Digital Technology Industry Law;

- Electricity Law (amended).

In the event that the Law project is well-prepared by the Government of Vietnam and the discussion process in the National Assembly achieves high consensus, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly will consider and cooperate with the Government of Vietnam to submit for approval at the 8th session following the one-session procedure;

- Educators Law;

- Law on the Management and Investment of State Capital in Enterprises;

- Special Consumption Tax Law (amended);

- Corporate Income Tax Law (amended);

- Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Supervision Activities of the National Assembly and People’s Councils;

- Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Advertising.

To be submitted to the Standing Committee of the National Assembly for consideration and approval of the following projects:

- Ordinance on Procedural Costs (adjustments regarding criminal procedural costs, civil procedural costs, administrative procedural costs, and assessor procedural costs);

- Ordinance on the Management and Protection of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Relic Complex (adjustments regarding the management and protection work of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Relic Complex as a particularly important work of national security and a particularly important historical-cultural relic in Ba Dinh historical-cultural relic cluster).
